Latest version of Magisk, Magisk v14.2 now available for download

Talking about the bug that was present in the Magisk v14.1 and which has been fixed in the Magisk v14.2 was a critical bug which broke the vast majority of Magisk modules. We have also known that Magisk v14.1 brought official support for Google Pixel, Moto Z2 Force, and the Xiaomi Mi A1. This means that all of the devices that have been officially supported will be able to take OTA updates seamlessly while preserving Magisk which means that you will have root access even after having the latest updates installed on your phone.

Now talking about the Magisk v14.2 and its changes, the biggest change in Magisk Beta v14.2 is that it officially supports the devices with an A/B partitioning scheme. This type of partitioning system was first seen on the Google Pixel smartphones that were released last year which will help in installing the system updates without even the user knowing about it. The update will be installed whenever the smartphone gets rebooted and thus, will not affect the work that the user needs to do on their daily usage. In order to update to Magisk v14.2 from Magisk v14.1, you just need to download the zip and install it from TWRP recovery. You can follow our guide from below to install magisk on your phone.
